Jeremy has significantly improved workplace safety by enhancing subcontractor engagement through upgraded compliance systems, applying rigorous safety protocols and introducing innovative communication tools. His hands on approach has resulted in significantly reduced injury rates and an improved safety culture with our subcontractors. Jeremy has also been recognised by the Australian Flexible Pavement Association for his work in supporting subcontractors on site.

Sona John

SHEQ Manager

D&SI

Sona set her sights on improving our safety performance on a council contract in New Zealand. Through comprehensive training sessions and a determination to change and unify the contract’s safety culture, Sona led by example, compelling managers and supervisors to actively participate in SHEQ-related safety courses. As a result of Sona’s unwavering effort, there was a notable 69% reduction in the Total Recordable Frequency Injury Rate.

Healthy Minds Champion EOI Team

GROUP

When Chris noticed two of our subcontractors were struggling to meet our safety standards, he implemented a month long coaching and mentoring program that led to significant improvements in their site safety performance and working practices. They are now contributing more to our program of works. Chris’s commitment to safety and his collaborative approach has resulted in better outcomes for our client.

The extensive efforts of the Healthy Minds Champion EOI team underpinned the selection and onboarding of over 100 new volunteer Healthy Minds Champions who will support our people and Ventia as a mentally healthy workplace

This team modelled effective cross team collaboration that focused on the entire end-to end recruitment experience, impact and results to support the whole Ventia business.
